Hi! I'm Amy...
...and I'd like to be the first to welcome you to Custom Curations, where every day is a party and celebrated occasion. As owner, Custom Curations is near and dear to my heart as it couples my love and passion for bringing people together for a memorable experience and providing unique custom gifts for every occasion.
My background is in education. I graduated from Converse University with a BA degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and later received my master’s degree in School Administration from Jacksonville University. I currently serve as a trustee at Converse University, and it is one of my greatest joys and privileges.
While I did not grow up in northern Florida, I adore Old Florida and spend lots of my time on the water with my family. It's so much fun, yet kind of ironic, since I am not a big fan of the Florida heat!
I love to cook and entertain. I often find myself channeling my inner "Barefoot Contessa" as I set the table, choose the flowers, and proudly use my mother’s and grandmother's china and glasses. My heart overflows when I have the opportunity to cook and deliver dinner to friends who are under the weather or celebrating a new baby. To me, this means food, flowers, wine, and of course dessert!
You can often find me gardening in my backyard. I find it so relaxing to spend time admiring all of the birds, sprucing up my flower pots, and enjoying the changing colors of each season. One of my newest hobbies is photography and my favorite subjects include flowers, landscapes, and architecture.
Gifting to others and creating one-of-a-kind special occasions truly brings me so much joy. My table settings will want to make you sit down and peek inside the gifts that are at each place setting wrapped in high-end papers, with beautiful gift tags, and accented with gorgeous ribbons.
I look forward to bringing your momentous event to life and helping you to curate something worth remembering!
As of September 2023, Amy's Amazing Chocolate Sauce has proudly been submitted to the Good Food Foundation under the confections category. It is undergoing a blind tasting, that if chosen, would move her chocolate sauce to marketplace along with other category winners. The Good Food Foundation Award recognizes stand-out culinary recipes that focus on using local and responsibly sustained ingredients.
Amy graduated from the Global Silicon Valley Start-Up Bootcamp giving her the skills, knowledge, and mindset to thrive as an business owner in the food and hospitality industry.

Sweets for the Soul was created as a passion project in my kitchen, but quickly grew to more than just a hobby. Over the last 3 years, I expanded beyond my kitchen and began renting a space in Jacksonville to be able to keep up with the demand. Sweets for the Soul initially started with "Amy's Amazing Chocolate Sauce" and we now offer a curated collection of 5 unique and one-of-a-kind sauces to transfer your favorite desserts from good to gourmet.
